Hey there Vray fanatics...
I have a question. I am rendering a 700 frame animation. I'm using RPC and one of my slaves quit midway through the animation and mis-rendered five frames. (Field issues with the RPCS...) So, I need to rerender frames. The question I have is, I used "incremental add to current map..." when I rendered the frames. I thought the best way to rerender the frames would be to reuse the saved vray map. However, when I attempt to rerender these individual frames using the saved map, Max just sort of hangs prior to rendering. I'm assuming this has something to do with the fact that the saved map is so large (it's storing 700 frames worth of GI information.)
If I do single frame animation for the missing frames, will these frames work with the pre-existing frames? What is the best way to "fix" a situation like this, when incrementally adding to the GI map?
Thanks for the help...
