Material preview...

Perhaps this is an old question but anyway...

I am using vray DEMO (last build)

there are a couple of things i am sure it's restricted to do.
I am not sure if this is one:

I can't see the material preview in the material editor.

is this fully available in the complete version?

enable vray as the renderer in your material preview options. I renders the vray watermark also over the mat preview but for the rest it works.

It worked but it's killing my graphics...
it slows the whole system...

Is this normal for the demo version?

Don't know if it's faster in the full version, but I doubt it. It's normal if you have materials with glossy reflections and stuff that they preview slow, it needs to render the preview just the same as you would render an image. Maybe use the manual update function, that way the materials don't need to refresh all the time.
