Is there a special reason why DR rendering setup must use UNC for maps paths?
I am using drive mapping on each computer, with each computer having drive M:\ for source maps and drive R:\ for render output. For example, bitmaps are referenced as:
M:\bitmap.tga
This has worked perfectly for regular network rendering with Vray, and Vray has been able to find textures and irradiance maps from central location.
However, as soon as I turn on DR, no computer but the main one uses any texture or irradiance maps. Otherwise, DR works how its supposed to.
Any idea why DR is having problem translating the drive letter path? This is an important issue, because UNC is not an option at the moment due to technical issues.
