Hello, Mental ray full integration in 3dsmax6 would change the roadmap of Vray?
If MR implantation is good,(i dont think so ) renderer like vray FR or brazil will have a pretty compete with Mr.

MR integration IS good... no matter what you think.

i hear so much about the MR price for network rendering, mhm we will see how much it will affect other render engines in the end.

the benefit of moving scenes between different applications that use MR, 3D and CAD, without much work to do on texturing etc. is not to small i think.

i believe hat the MR integration is a very good move.
a move that will not only have benefits on bigger studios, that use a wide range of applications.

MR will become a quasi standard.
it´s already used in MAYA, XSI, CATIA and many more applications.

imho it will be integrated in autocad as well some time in the future.
as mental images and autodesk have such a deal.

would be cool if the MR standart could some day also used to move scene data between applications... Else MR is still what it is a massive, slow and old raytracer.
