      haha, my little script works with vray, yes.
      i didn't try the cebas plugin but i heard it doesn't work reliably with vray. one guy at splutterfish confirmed that it doesn't work with brazil.
      apparently the reason for this lies in the copy protection, which is slightly amusing.
      i believe that the price of maxVRqt is ridiculous, considering that the whole quicktime VR SDK is free and opensource, and it's a matter of a few hours (maximum) to compile it into a frontend for max.
      if i was a real programmer i would do it in a cleaner way than the script frontend to the apple sdk demo-application, but visual studio scares me off. one would just have to add command line parameter support to the GoCubic/VRMakePano source to allow fully automated cubicVR creation out of any 3d app with script support.

        i agree with plastic.

        i use gocubic and photopaint to create the same images without giving any money to cebas.

        qtvr mov: animate a camera, create qt with gocubic

        qt obvr: animate camera, post to qt, qt obj vr with photo paint..

          Discreet Design Extensions for Max 5 has a very good "Panorama Exporter" for creating cubeVR MOVs. It's is free for registered users.
          As far as I now, like Cebas' plugin, Discreet's product works perfectly well with vRay.

            Is there a free prog that can create object VR?
            It's been a long time since I made any VR stuff. Back then I used a Mac, save my soul.

              @rhino:

              just like i told: animate a camera around the object with 64 or 128 frames.

              render frames. create a .mov with video post. import in corel photo paint. export as object vr..

              regards

                And if you don't have Corel Photopaint, is there another app that can create the object VR? Can you export Object VR out of Quicktime Pro?

                thanks,
