    Just done some tests with the new build and raytrace seems to work ?
    any comments.
    is it supposed to ?

    Could I ask a stupid question? What raytracing are you referring to? Lighting or reflections?

      is vray supposed to be a none raytracing renderer?

      without jokes, you speak about the max raytracing material i guess?

        For some reason, I thought he was talking about Max's raytrace material. That would have been a dream come true..........MUCH FASTER!! ok, I will go away now.........

            Thats odd. It does not work for me. Are you saying that you can apply a Max raytrace material to an object, lets say a chrome sphere, and it reflects?

              no im saying ........
              standard mat
              raytrace as refect seems to work, it even does the raytrace calc for max ?

                They have always "worked". Just that they can cause blotches.
