  • Vray and G-buffer

I just want to know is there any way to save a Vray render in file like RPF or RLA with channel Z-depth.

yep, just select the z-depth gbuffer and then make sure to check the box for it in RLA or RPF

Why does one have to select the G-Buffer channel in the Vray options ? The scanline renderer knows automatically which channels are required by render effects, RPF... ?

            Check up

Viray saves more helpful information than scanline. Check up, if it is interesting.
