Active shade in MAX black....why?

  • Active shade in MAX black....why?

    Why is active shade screen rendering black.....doesnt vray support it?

    Also, I have problem with OGL display in the viewports. The texturest dont show up....I tried to tweak everything but its still not there...
    Iam running on Gforce 3.....

    Please help

    Hi Mzmeskal !

    What you mean is about the material editor slot where you
    have a black sphere ?

    The solution is easy :
    Open the Option panel of the material editor.
    In the renderer section, change scaliner for the other one.
    That's all !
    Then it will be Vray renderer that will refresh your active slots.
    You must be sure that Vray is in use in Max renderer.

    Have fun with Vray...

      If U mean the activeshade viewport, I think that VRay doesn't support it!
