  • Antialiasing Adaptive Subdivision Settings?

What are a few settings everyone uses here? Efficient settings? High Quality settings? Good settings that don't slow rendering down too much?

    My settings:

    Efficient (default)
    Min: -1
    Max: 2
    Thres: .1

    High Quality (slow renders)
    Min: 0
    Max: 4
    Thres: .05

0 and 4 seems really high. I like 0 and 2 or even 1 and 2. Usually I find that its the lower setting that needs adjusting.

Other way to get metter AA is to do simple two level with 1, 4 or 2, 4. You may get better results with that.

I usually use 1/3. With 1 I get all the small and thin details, and with 3 I get good aa on near horizontal and vertical lines.
