replicate versus instanciate objects

Hi all,

I have a scene with a lot of referenced geometry (as in copy-referenced) and I was wondering if in vray would it make a difference to set the "Instanced objects" in the "system" rollout to either "replicate" or "Instanciate", or whether it does make any difference at all, especially for my kind of scene....

If you have copied them as instances, not copies or references, this option should save you quite a bit of RAM.

no, i copied them as references...so should i just leave them to replicate??
