  • Set White background - renders Grey

This may be a really dumb question but I'm setting my background to pure white so that way when I print it'll be a white background but it renders out grey.

I'm setting it in the environment under Render settings.

    Thanks.

No problems here, white renders as white...

Try to uncheck "affect backround" in the color mapping area.

if you use vrays override background color, it will only show up in reflections and refractions. Make sure your max background is set to white too.

          re

Save your image as a tga w/ an alpha channel, then make the bkgrnd color what ever you want it to be in Photoshop.
