  • different resolution,different irradiance map,different time

    Hi guys!

    I'm new to Vray,it's really great!

    Here I have a question(maybe stupid):

    when I set different resolution for the same scene,
    the irra-map's size is different: almost doubled when resolution doubled,
    and the rendering time different a lot:almost 4 times when resolution doubled!!!
    hi-res takes a lot more time to calculate the irra-map.

    I've heard that we can calculate the map in a low-res
    and reuse it in hi-res.

    But what'bout the hi-res one? Does it make the image more better?
    or, there is no different between those irra-maps?

    Thanx!
