there is a free map shader plugin in the web. Think it's called spectral or so.
The real effect is a combination of very tiny bump and a spectral light breaking that is currently not possible with Vray. Anyhow would take ages to render because of AA and split IOR.
well, looks like this chap got some realistic looking spectrum working through a refractive material and a gradient fill (check bottom of the page)- perhaps you can do this by throwing a rainbow gradient map into a reflection chanel- uvw map of course to cylindrical. It's just an idea but it may work with some tweaking. I think this is just about the only other way to avoid long render times.
