P4 or Athlon64 for the new renderfarm?

Hi there guys!

We have to buy some new computers for our little renderfarm here.
The Question is: "What to buy?" P4's or shiny new Athlon64?

I read some tests concerning rendering performance with the new athlon.
In most cases (...with scanline) it seems the p4 is faster. I just wanted to know if someone has some experience with vray and the two cpu's?

Which one is better for Vray?

That's a tough one, Until windows is 64 bit (first or second quarter 2004?) It's hard to say if the A64's will be worth it, I believe (it was a while ago) Vlado has said that V-Ray could be made to take advantage of 64 bit proccessing, I've only heard rumors that Max will. Like the benchmarks show for 32bit rendering the P4's are where it's at unless you consider the Xeons...
