Off Topic - Erco lights?

Anyone know of a way to edit the geometry of an Erco light? I need to adjust the mounting length on a pendant.

if you had the design tools in max5 then you could do it with the assembly tool.

funny enough: if i recall right in r5 you had to use "character>unlock"...
