Am I right in saying that you can turn Refractive caustics off to improve render time, but it will effect light travelling through transparent objects such as glass. It wont render correctly if Caustics are off.
It would be fine for a scene that has no transparent objects, but I wonder if it would even effect the render time on or off in this situation because there is nothing to calculate?
