  • vrlservice.exe: Start error

When I trying to run Launch V-Ray licence server on max2012-64bit vray 2,0 the error message appears:
WibuKey API error 38 is occured,

I used max2011-64bit with vray 1,5SP5 without any problems.

    Any solutions?

Please uninstall the WIBU-KEY drivers. Proceed with fresh new installation of the latest version of the drivers available to download at
          http://wibu.com/download_user.php

Make sure that the dongle was properly detected and the drivers were properly installed. Check in the Device Manager, on the right of the window; open the Universal Serial Bus controllers and see whether there is any question mark (in yellow) on the WIBU-BOX/RU staff.

If the problem persists thereafter, please e-mail us at support@chaosgroup.com

Same problem once again..... This time it first had an error 38, and now it is error 17.
I can't find any information on the net about that error..... Stupid dongle....

Someone who knows something about that error 17 ?
