Distributed Rendering Warnings

I have a question about errors/warnings in regards to distributed rendering.... I am trying to figure out why some computers do not connect.

The machines that won't connect have a number 2 after the warning. What does this number indicate?

example.....

warning: Could not connect to host 172.22.28.175: 2

Fixed the problems. A couple of renderfarm machines automatically rebooted after updates installed that I wasn't aware of.

That said, ....I don't think there is a list of errors and potential causes / solutions. It wuld be nice if this were part of the help manual.
