  • gi bug!!! plz read...

i really dont no when this started.....yesterday......... if i render with NO gi, no matter how i change the original 3ds max background color(from black to white, u name it), the object doesn change color(it wont get brighter)......................................... .................................................. ....if i render WITH gi, and the 3ds max background is black...the object has the right color/brightness....if the background is white..... the object is like whiteish.....if the background is green, even tho the object is gray, the object becomes green too!!!
its like the background control the light color/intensity or some thing....but there's no light added, just the default lighting(it happens also with add-on light)
    help!!!!!

*note: i am using vray mtl, no settings changed (actually doesn matter what mtl i use..this bug still occur)..... so the color of the mtl is gray....and so there's no reflection!!!!

The reason its doing that is because the max environment is acting like a skylight, so if you have the max environment set to a gren color is cast green light onto the object making it look green.
