  • may you do me a favor???? it 's very very simple....

may u open up max , make a box or whatever u want e.x. a teapot, then make the 3dsmax background evironment (not the vray one) green, then start up vray, make the material to vraymtl, without any settings changed....dont need aa, just render with gi (prefer irr. map).......does the box/teapot in the rendered image greenish???

    if it's greenish....then i am ok.....if it's not...i am having a serious bug!!!

    thx guys...i appreciate it ...

it show up green for me as well.

the max environment is acting like a skylight light. add an omni to the scene and turn the omni off, to get more realistic lighting ( this will disable the max default lighting which makes thing look extra bright when using only skylight)

p.s. Its not a bug. Best to just tick override max default in the environment rollout in the vray render properties
