  • How to render ZDepth pass of the opposite side of transparent window ?

In my case, I just re-render the Zdepth pass only without windows (and with some render options off).

but another problem is occur when it composed.

This is zdepth pass without windows

    You cannot see the window.

Here is the problem when using it.

It makes the window itself blurry because there is no depth info about windows in zdepth pass.

So I have to edit manually.

    Finished work is here.

    Any possible good way?

Hmm - I wonder if you set up an extratex element with only the window glass included, and stuck in a falloff map with towards / away as the method using the same distance values as you've put into your zdepth pass?

Actually, come to think of it the edges are the only part of the glass you're going to see - defocussed through glass is the same as focussed through glass - it's only the edges and the frame that'll get blurry, and the reflections back at you. Tough one!

Don't know it's possible, but I'll try it tomorrow.
