  • VRayEnvironmentFog colored shadows

    Hello vlado,

I have a question regarding VRayEnvironmentFog. Is there a way to enable colored shadows?
For example, a blue cloud should cast a colored shadow on the ground, like it is possible with the standard Volumefog atmospheric.
I have attached a simple scene with 2 gizmos, first with VRayEnvFog and the second with Volume Fog, but only the second has the correct shadow color. Thanks!

For now there is no way to get colored shadows, but it is on the "to do" list.

    Best regards,
    Vlado

      Ok, thanks for the Info!
Would be great to have an option to choose the absorbtion color too.

It's the is the same thing (if you want physically plausible fog anyways).

        Best regards,
        Vlado

Yes, but this would make it easier to tweak the volume shadows a bit. Independent from the shadow color of the light source or other VrayEnvFog atmospherics.
