  • Render Region Vray Frame Buffer

I might have missed something but the standard render region for 3ds max allows you to draw a marquee in the view port. The Vray frame buffer however only allows you to set a render region in the render window. You have to render it first to see where to draw the marquee. Kind of annoying when the scene takes an age to load during render time.

Or Have I missed a trick here?

nope, that's how it works as the frame buffer can't let you see the scene before it's rendered.
