  • Solid VRayDistance Map?

Is there any way to get the vraydistance texture to be a solid color up to the far distance rather than a blend between the near and far colors? I'm using displacement on a ceiling grid to get the gridlines (using just a Tile Map) but I can't work out a way to get the grid around the edge of the walls. Any ideas?

Nevermind. An output map can control the slope just fine.

May I suggest GradientMap for this - I use it for the same thing. It is commercial though.

Do you mean something besides the built in Gradient Map of 3ds max?
