I'm testing a deep pile carpet using some geometry. Quite intensive, but it looks good (found a BB tutorial somewhere that linked to the free snip of geometry on Turbosquid - thanks!).
I'm contemplating using this technique in a 720P animation. Has anyone tested this? Am I likely to get some serious flickering because of GI and/or AA settings? Would settings need to be through the roof to prevent flickering?
