HI folks.
Wuts the fastest way (renders the fastest and best lookin) to lit a 40'x40'x10' room with few tables/chairs/sofa? No windows. Lets say it has 9 units of 4'x2' flourescent lite panels. Final results will be use as an animation. Running out of time to do test renders.
IRmap or Photon? VrayLites for the lite panels? Fakiosity?
Usually for interior animations, I would just run a prepass with all materials in white color so no unpredictable colors bouncing around and white color helps lit up the room alot better than colored textures. After the pre-pass I would apply the textures and colors and render the final animation (recycling the IRmap). Its less realistic, but looks good enuff to impress the clients, but its fast bc i dun hv to do so many test renders. Is this a common practice among u folks or am I just the lazy one here?
Thanks a bunch!
