How Can I Render Bloom as Separate Pass?

On 2.0 I turned on the Vray Lens Effect, enabled Bloom, and turned on "Render Element" under the bloom options. Im rendering out EXRs and from what I understand the Bloom Render Element created by VRay Lens Effect is NOT stored in the EXR. This is evident because when I extract the bloom in After Effects, its empty. Thus, how can I save a separate pass for the Bloom?

you certainly cant rendrer to EXR and VRIMG, because the way the r saved

you can try to render to separate PNGs through "split render passes" or whatever its called in the VFB options

in the lens effects you ll have to set the options to "render element only"
