    Hy to all,
    i have a question. I tryed the compilation Marlin Studios "Tree and Foliage" on a non-commercial scene but i have problem to understanding the correct procedure to insert this images in my 3d with photorealistic look.
    Anyone can explain me the correct procedure to use this fabulous plants?

    As far as I remember, they have a seperate opacity image, so you can stick the B/W opacity map in the opacity channel, and the texture in the diffuse... I usually use standard MAX material. Then stick them on a plane and have it's normal point to the camera.

    You could also once and for all copy the alpha channel to the texture image itself, in PS, and save it as TIF with alpha - that way your PS post work inserting trees and stuff will be much easier...

    I find it faster to do these things in PS - but you have to do a little colortweaking to make them match the lighting.
