I want to render matte/shadow object like in max w/ vray. I select objects and in the System popup set Object properties-- Check Matte, set Affect alpha value to 0. Everything(Alpha) is ok if the matte object is not interlaced with any other non-matte objects in z-depth. When interlaced, vray outputs the non-matte objects's alpha(solid alpha), which is quite different from what max does. It brings me more process in post production in PS. Are there any good ideas to solve it?
