  • New MaxScript available - Select Polygons by Area

    Hey everyone,
I just posted a new free script on our site called Select Polygons by Area. Quoted from the description- "For 3dsMax versions 9 and newer, this little script can save big time. Use it to select polygons based on their area. You can set high and low limits and select everything in between. The script can be set to interactive mode where the selection changes as you adjust parameters, or a manual mode if you don't want instant feedback. You can also use the Named Selection Sets and the Manage Selection Sets tools built into Max to create very complicated selection sets in very little time. "

Enjoy! And if anyone has ideas on ways to improve this, feel free to let me know.

I thought that it's already built into the graphite tools, but I looked and it isn't actually.
    So, nice job!
It's just really tedious to find the download link, I gave up at some point. Why do you insist on a shopping cart with registration for a free script?

I would have like to test the interactive mode but like Plastic, I dont want to send all that personal data for a free script. There are a million free scripts on Scriptspot that are accessible via a single download link.
