Error -198

Anyone know what error -198 is about? Seems to be related to obtaining a license, but is only happening on a single machine. Any ideas?

Bah posted in wrong forum. Anywho for those that search and find this thread, one other machine had a copy of max left behind in the task manager (though it was closed, the process lingered) and that prevented the other machine from getting a license.
