Changing colour/hues on same object

hi folks, i have this recurring problem in vray, the wall colours look different at diff regions, why? sometimes they turn really dark when i render em, like some of the windows/frames on the facade? i dont know how to tackle this problem, please help
p.s - i import acad dwg files into max b4 rendering.

are you using mirrored instances ?
vray doesnt like this for some reason.
or is it your normals ?
