  • Vray frame buffer button

    Is there any way to map the vray frame buffer to 3dsmax's frame buffer button once its been selected as the choice of frame buffer ?
    I'm constantly clicking 3dsmax's frame buffer button and the wrong buffer comes up.

    cheers

    While the button can't be replaced, you can remove the 3ds Max VFB button and add another one which maps to the following maxscript:
    Code:
    renderers.production.showLastVFB()
    Best regards,

        also, you could forget about the buttons and just pick it via the right-click quad menu...

          Yep the quad menu is good.

          I find it annoying when the frame buffer is minimised and you hit show Vray frame buffer it doesn't come to the front, it stays minimized, since its in a separate window to 3dsmax.
          So i waste a click , its just work flow thing that drives me nuts.

          cheers

            Yeah, that is a good point...in that case, I use Alt+Tab instead of mouse clicks...
            still, even having it in the quad is so much better than 1.xx versions...
            I think I might try vlado's idea for making a button
            Thanks

              This is fixable, I just wasn't aware of the issue
