render default light shadows

is it possible to render in vray with the default lighting shadows? just like the viewport shadows?

I could be wrong but I don't think the default lights actually cast shadows in renders. (maybe they do with 2012). Regardless the default lighting can be reproduced easily by just aligning a spot to the camera and linking it so that it follows the camera. This will allow you to tweak things as well, such as shadow settings, etc.
