  • several vray version with one license

    Hello,
What is the procedude to have 1.5 and 2.2 working on the same workstation with 3Dsmax.
I face some rendering time problem with the 2.xxx version and for test purpose I need to render some test scene with both version.
Uninstalling each version and installing them again is a real headeach.

    Thanks
    Fraggle

I had no luck with this, so I made a second user on my machine that has 1.5.

Use different versions of max if you can for different Vray versions. We keep old Vray on Max 9 and the new Vray on max2011.

        Dave,
unfortunatly this will biais the speed render test. I need to have the same soft/harware exept the plug in for test purpose.

        Thanks anyway.

          Thanks,
All my soft are installed on the admin account (I chosed to installed it only on admin account).
Does it means that I have to installed max again to be able to run it with another account?

By the way, I don't get the point, how to you split v1.5 from 2.2 from one user to another one?

          Thanks
