  • vray sun sky issue

I’m tiring to render a horizon with ocean going into the distance from a beach.
I’m using vray sun sky system.
The sky system make the image look like it has lots of fog on the horizon with no distance to the fog as it reflects in the water.
I have a tried distance fall off on the reflection of the water but not having much luck.
Dose anyone have a solution for this? Click image for larger version

change the default "3" of turbidity in the sun settings down to "2".
Also try adjusting ozone setting also in sun settings

also, maybe try sticking in a halfdome and apply a sky texture (with vraylight) to it and use that as your "sky" instead of vray sky. Just set the dome not to cast or receive shadows and exclude it from any GI

        Cheers for the response guy's.
I tried the turbidity settings - it made little difference.
I will have to go the sky mapped dome route.
Just need to find a good hdr sky.
