    VrayDirt - reflection mode - I know there's a movie about this feature somewhere, but I don't know where to find it anymore...

    does anybody knows where to find infos about this feature? thanks.

    What do you need to know about it? It is pretty straightforward - instead of tracing occlusion rays based on the surface normal, it uses the reflection direction.

      I don't see the straightness...

      I would like to understand the reflection masking... but it doesn't work for me. I don't how to use it and with which renderlement. I would like to mask reflections.

        Ok then; I'm afraid I can't be of much help there - I was asked only to implement it From what I remember, in the particular case it was simply used as a fast approximation to reflections, although you can certainly use it for masks as well.
