Hi, we are updating our renderfarm, and 1 big problem we want to fix is when the remote license server connection is interrupted. Since this is in another building, we have to call Help Desk, and it takes too long for the problem to be resolved. Ideally, we would point to a second license server, but do we need to buy 12 more licenses for this?!? How can this failover/redundancy best be handled? Thank you.

The farm machines only need to connect to a working license server; it doesn't need to actually contain any licenses. So you could just get an empty dongle from us and set up a separate license server on the farm with the empty dongle and point the farm machines to it.
