  • Photon question

Could be possible use only photon mapping in first and secondary bounces? (in order to calculate only one time the photon map an reuse it in all frames of an animation with camera movement), or quality with this map isn't enough to forget irradiance map.

    Regards

    (Sorry for my english)

the quality will never be good enough to really use photon mapping for both bounces.

            Saludos

Thanks to all people for your responses. I'm seeing a little bit clearer now. I'll ese irradiance for first bounce and photons for secondary. Regards
