vray light rectangle light option

Hello,

what is the "direction" parametre of the vray light "rectangle light option" ?

Is 0 = light is perpendicular to vraylight and 1=very diffuse light rays at a 180degree angle ?

yes, that is correct, but it is the other way around
0 is 180 degrees and 1 is perpendicular

You may find that the "meaningful" range is in the upper end only. I haven't used it in a while as it doesn't work in RT yet and that messes with my lighting workflow, but I found that values of .88-.99 were the workable range. Below that it gets harder to see much difference - but that may have been tuned up a bit since last I looked at it.
