What's New in Release 2.30.01?

I see there is a new release as of May 4 , but I cannot find any documentation. What is new with this release?

No, by this time there are only 2.30.01 builds for 2009 up to 2012 availabel. But I think Max 2013 will follow soon.

There is a changelog that opens right after the installation, or you can find it in Start menu > Programs > Chaos Group > V-Ray for 3ds Max > Documentation > Change log

I will also post it here on Monday after the official announcement.

This required some not-so-minor changes to the V-Ray SDK and we couldn't release these in a service pack unfortunately (service packs are supposed to keep the V-Ray SDK compatibility).

Still, it is almost done for the nightly builds.

Any word on this? Getting IT to install this just to read the notes seems unlikely, especially if I need to uninstall it later....

It is in the code, but unfortunately there is no UI to turn it on yet.
