  • Mix image background 360 sky image and vraysky

    Hello,

what would be the correct workflow to have a sperical background sky image that is "tweaked"/mixed with the vraysky to get it's intensity ?

when using LWF, i find it very difficult to have a correct background sky that kind of is "correct" with the sun intensity.

so that's why i thought of mixing... (used a vraycomptex to mix a .jgp background and a vraysky, but didn't really worked out...)

    Thanks

put the jpg in a colour correct and push it till it does work, i've been doing it with comptex's for years and it works fine.

I have done this once. I used the opacity slot, I think.

I put a camera at 0,0,0 and align the target to the sun. Then put the jpeg in the environment and make visible. Rotate the jpeg until it lines up with the sun. Now you have your rotation values for the bitmap that match your sun position in the VraySky.
