  • Light cache much brighter than irradiance map

I notice that the light cache pass is always over bright and the irradiance map seems to be a little too dark. However the final result is somewhere in then middle which is OK. I wondered why the light cache is bright, is it to do with approximations of light and that it isn't very good at being accurate?

Can you show me the images and your GI settings? If you just use irradiance map+brute force, it's normal that it would be darker, as it does less light bounces than the light cache.

    Best regards,
    Vlado

U mean the prepas preview wehn you render? The IRR dont have direct light show unsless u tick the bock to show direct light... U might want to tick it then u should get simmilar results to LC...

      Thanks, bye.
