Thank you trixian, i tryed to create the z buffer with the g-buffer and stuff like that, but the way you explained me worked like a charm, so thank you. There really should be a real manual for Vray.

Glad to be of help. As RErender mentioned, switch renders for tasks like this. There is a render pass manager plugin out there on the net that seems pretty handy, but it is best suited using with a renderer that supports rendering the image elements. Might be good for vray once it hits v.1.5 (if the render pass feature is included and works).

Yeah, you probaply are refering to this http://www.rpmanager.com . Its quite intresting and if Vray 1.5 will support render passes and stuff like that then that would come in handy.

At the time is it possible if i have a volumetric light to get the alpha of it to render to a separate file?[/url]

If youre wondering if it is possible to specify that the alpha of the volumetric be spit out in a sepparate file with all affecting objects set as black in one go, then no. You'll have to set that up manually. The times when i have needed to do such things, I have rendered them out separately with shadow/matte materials on all geometry that needs to be included, and then hidden the rest. Usualy renders out fairly quickly. For more detailed volume lights (filtered through lots of opacity maps) you might want to take a look at Trapcode's Shine for Aftereffects/Combustion. It does the job better and faster (in nearly all cases).
