  • window reflection problem solved

    Hi,

I was using previously lighcache and ir cache when rendering exterior scenes. Problem was that I had big issues getting good reflections on windows. Reflections were too light or interior space got too much light. Now I tested rendering without lightcache and all the problems went away. I rendered only with ir cache, secondary bounce was set to none. How does lightcache actually work? Cause it feels like it's removing shadows from the scene. It doesnt feel natural that sun and sky lights up all the interior space by them selves. Can you somehow control where the lightcache gives you more light?

Now I am able to get good results with lightcache too. I just had to crack up light retrace up to 200. Now it's working just like I want it.

      Interesting...

Out of curiosity, what color do you use for white? 255? 240? 157?
