Hi All,
After reading the photon tutorials, I decide to give it a try, but think I must have missed something.
The scene is an interior with a number of windows. I have placed one direct light acting as the sun and have tried the following options:
Irridiance maps with direct light only
Irridiance maps with direct light and hdri enviroment
Irridiance maps with direct light and skylights in fornt of the openings the light is coming from, by the way I have test but could not see any differance between palcing an skylight at every window opening or placing only one spaning cross all the openings. Should it give differant results or not?
Photon Map with skylights and the switching to irridiance map
Thing is the irridiance map with only the one light gives the best time and ligting of the interior, where as I though the photons would have help getting the light energy into the space and thus give a better ligth sulotion.
Any help welcomed.
Thanks
