  • When using Animation IR, what should I do with the secondary pass?

We like to use lightcache normally, so how should we set it, when using a precalculated IR?

Can you also store in the same prepass an LC-sequence?

Or how would you do it best?

    Thanks!

anytime you bake gi and use it from file you should turn secondary gi engine to none, since all that data is saved in the irradience map itself. So you bake the animation with irmap as primary and lc as secondary, and then set it to off.

...but if you are using light cache for glossys, then you still need to keep lc as secondary turned on.
