  • between interpolated glossy relfection and just plain glossy

i want to ask for everyone's opinion: between interpolated glossy relfection and just plain glossy relfection(lower the subdiv to 5), which do u prefer and why?

if u have any other cool settings, plz tell me....cuz i am kinda confused....

Well I'm always using normal (non-interpolated) glossiness. I'm having huge problems with realistic looking glossy effects with interpolation - for example if I set glossyness to only 0.99 reflections get way too glossy and they don't have this sharpness in the beginning and softness at the end of reflections - they look blured evenly. But if I set glossyness to 0.6 for example, reflections are gone because they are so blured that there aint any I played with lots of parameters in Vray material but nothing really helped. So I just stick to non-interpolated glossyness.
Maybe I'm doing something wrong, are there any tutorials on that or some test scenes maybe?

the interp samples also play a part in the blurryness.......i am not 100% sure tho......

cool....i guess ur right.....but the dots/noise whatever u guys call it generated by plain glossy reflection piss me off...........
