  • Vray Lens Effect - Stand Alone ?

    Hi,

is there any possibility to have the Vray Lens Effect as a standalone version ?

Since this is a post effect it would be cool to have the possibility to load rendered footage into a standalone version or as plugin for software packages like After Effects, Photoshop, Nuke, Fusion, etc. -
with the goal to apply the Vray Lens Effect in post without using 3dsmax.

Or is this already possible and I just missed it ?

    thx a lot !

Yeah I'd love this in AE and Photoshop, I do sometimes struggle with it within max.

There are many plugins for lens effects (some compositing applications have this built-in) - is there a specific reason that you'd want the V-Ray lens effects specifically?

      Best regards,

I really like the Lens Dependency with the diffraction... it's really cool... I am not sure to which compositing application you are reffering to, but so far... I never experienced that specific combination..... or did I miss something ?

This guy wrote a nice little stand alone program for processing glare in images - http://bit.ly/OQ17QP

Not sure if he's still selling it or not but maybe worth a look.
