A smaller Dist. Treshold will take more time?

there´s a big difference in time? let´s say from 0.1 to 0.05?

A smaller dist treshold will take less time!!! Just go from 0.1 to 0.5 and you'll notice a big difference. A change from 0.1 to 0.05 should take less time and there will be absolutely no difference in the render itsself imo.
